Catherine and Bill: New Year's Eve Wedding, Part 2
February 9, 2012 4:35 pm WEDDINGS
A string quartet serenading the guest, white orchids in flowing arrangements, a candle lit ceremony, a cocktail hour with great food and your closest friends, and a reception filled with dancing and laughter that went on into the New Year, that is how you bring in the New Year with class and style. Catherine and Bill turned the already stunning Heartwood Hall into their dream wedding. The barn at Heartwood made for a great, intimate location for their wedding.
Holliday Flowers did an amazing job with the floral arrangements! The all white arrangements were perfect for the feel of the evening.
Catherine and her girls changed into super fun reception dresses. I love the idea of having two dresses on your wedding day! Catherine’s flapper inspired dress was perfect for dancing that night away and showing off her glorious heels.
Catherine’s best friend and bridesmaid, Latarsha, served as entertainment during dinner. Her voice was amazing! I think we could have listened to her all night!
These are two of my favorite candid moments from the wedding. Catherine and Bill were having that time of their lives and didn’t give a care who was around them, it was just about that two of them for those moments.
Ending 2011 and going into 2012 in your lover’s arms, absolutely that very best way to spend New Year’s.
Catherine and Bill ,
Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your fabulous day! We couldn’t have thought of a better way to spend New Year’s Eve nor could we have thought of a better group of people to be with on that day. Your love for one another is so much fun to watch and your new family is beyond gorgeous. Thank you for giving us the honor of capturing your day and your love.
Cheers,
Savannah and Philip

Catherine and Bill: New Year’s Eve Wedding
February 8, 2012 6:56 pm WEDDINGS
We ended our wedding season of 2011 on the very last day of the year and we ended it with the party of the year. Catherine and Bill had a fabulous wedding at Heartwood Hall on New Year’s Eve. It was truly an honor to get to capture their love for one another and the join of their families. They had their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the Barn and boy did it look amazing! Catherine and her planner Bryson, with the help from Holiday Flowers, did an amazing job at transforming the barn into a posh celebration room.
We are so excited to finally be able to share the images from the Milligan wedding with you all. We hope you enjoy! Here is a look at the first part of their day.
Stay tuned for part two with all the beautiful details!
Cheers,
Savannah and Philip

Happy First Anniversary: Jacki and Tyler
December 17, 2011 10:55 am WEDDINGS
With each anniversary post that we do I feel like it was just a few days ago that we photographed the wedding! This year has flown by faster than we could have ever expected and I’m sure that Jackie and Tyler feel the same way.
I remember vividly the look on Tyler’s face when he saw Jackie walking down the aisle for the first time. There were tears in his eyes and a huge smile on his face. Jackie was beaming as she approached her groom and I remember having to hold back my own tears as they joined their lives together. They were so happy to finally be getting married and as you can see from the image above these two are perfect for each other!
We were honored to be able to get to know Jackie and Tyler and to photograph their wedding last year. It was a beautiful day full of love and happiness and we hope the rest of their married life is full of the same joy and happiness they experienced on their wedding day!
Happy first anniversary Jackie and Tyler!
Cheers,
Savannah and Philip

Jennifer and Seth: Wedding
November 29, 2011 9:26 pm WEDDINGS
For a wedding as great as Jennifer and Seth’s we wanted to do a little something different with their blog post. Typically we show our favorites from the day on the blog and do it in a simple fashion. But for this wedding we wanted to really show the day how we envisioned it, in album format.
When we shoot a wedding the number one goal for us is to create beautiful art for our couples that showcases their full wedding day. For us the end result is best shown in album format. We absolutely love designing albums and we actually shoot with the album in mind. We want the album to not only show beautiful pieces but tell the story of the day in clear way. We want our albums to be heirloom piece that can be handed down to the next generation and the grandchildren can feel like they were a part of their grandparent wedding day.
So for Jennifer and Seth’s wedding post we would like to show you the album design that we put together from their day. This would be a 10×10 album that opens up to 20×10 and has a massive 106 pages. We hope you enjoy seeing their love, their fun spirit, their fun bridal party, the beautiful details that Jennifer carefully planned, and the joy that these two have being together.
Cheers,
Savannah and Philip
